Meet Mr P and his parents:) P is the cutest, happiest little guy I've worked with in a long time. I love his sparkly eyes and auburn hair, and his sweet personality. He has a family that is totally head over heels for him, very very lucky little guy:)
Yeah yeah yeah, I know this is one month and one day overdue, and we have all moved on since Christmas, but I've been busy, and these pictures finally made if off of the card and onto my computer, finally! Here is a glimpse of our Christmas, which was filled with fun, presents, Dora, presents, food, presents....needless to say our children were spoiled rotten by their grandparents, aunts and uncles, Santa (or HoHo as Addie says) and by us too:)
Taylor is so unimpressed with the PS3, as am I :) Mikey was holding her the other night, looked down, and she was out...unimpressed lol
Lately, this is the only time I can get a pic of Addie. She loves the bath and could stay in there forever, but please, couldn't she at least humor me and let me take just ONE picture of her in daytime light, in clothes, and in a space that is much less ugly than our little tiny bathroom that needs major updating!
Drew and Annie are one of my 2011 couples, and I was so so so excited to meet with them for their engagement session. They both kept saying how they weren't "picture people", but I couldn't disagree more! Their connection with each other resonates in the photos, which makes them the best kind of "picture people" :) I had such a great time with them, they were such great sports doing all of my weird ideas, following me all over place, and dealing with the freezing cold! I can't wait for their wedding in July!

We finally got some sunshine and I rushed Miss A outside to soak it up before it went away for another month. She instantly picked up her Dora watering can that has sat unused and waterlogged for months, and began watering the flowers. Love that girl.
This little girl must be one of the sweetest babies ever:) She loves loves loves to cuddle, to nestle her head in the crook of your neck, I think she could stay there forever, and sometimes, I wish she could.
Shasta and I had been planning this shoot for what seemed like months, and when we finally got together, we were dodging raindrops, but having a great time together. She has such a great zest and personality, and is going to do great things in the future!

I want to remember her feet. How soft they are. How the toenails are sometimes ragged and rough. How they help her to explore and grow. How in the blink of an eye they have changed from wrinkled newborn feet, to a jumping toddler's. I want to remember her feet.
Addie-
Today you are two, and we can hardly believe how fast the time has gone by. It really does seem like just yesterday that we were in the hospital enduring a loooong labor waiting for you to come into the world, and now you are this little person brimming with personality and such a zest for life. These past two years have been filled with love and happiness, and we couldn't love you more.
Recently we have been seeing a lot of the "terrible twos", and have even been doing time out, not so sure if it works though, because if we ask you if you need to go to time out, you excitedly shake your head and say "uh huh!" Nice. You are such a wonderful sister to Taylor, and have been surprisingly helpful lately. You also might be a little mommy in the making....you have been really good at putting dirty laundry in the hamper, and whenever there is stuff out of place in the house, you run around screaming "mess" until someone cleans it up:)
You are talking so much, and my newest favorite saying is "here Momma" which you say with such a high pitched tone and sweet face.
We can't wait to see what this year has in store for you, hopefully some potty training and sleeping in happen, but mostly we hope for you to continue being the happy girl you are:)
